Durham University- Sunday Times University of the Year 2005

Established in 1832 the University of Durham is the third oldest higher education institution in England after Oxford and Cambridge. Durham University is a world-class university in two locations: in the city of Durham and at our Queen's Campus in Stockton.

The University is collegiate, with colleges providing residential, social and welfare facilities for their student members, and creating a sense of community for staff and students together. Durham University is willing to admit Chartered Members in their MA (Enterprise Management) program with a possibility of advanced standing. MA (Enterprise Management) is an integrated program and at present not available in a distance learning basis.

Charles Sturt University (CSU) was established by the Charles Sturt University Act, 1989 (Act No. 76, 1989), which was proclaimed on 19 July 1989. The University is a federated network institution comprising the former Mitchell College of Advanced Education (MCAE) and Riverina-Murray Institute of Higher Education (RMIHE).

    Edith Cowan University

    A market leader in education for the service professions, Edith Cowan University (ECU) is located in Perth, Western Australia, a gateway to Asia.The University's international enrolments exceed 3,000 with students originating from more than 80 countries.

    ECU's origins go back to 1902 when it began as a teaching college. Today it is Western Australia's second largest university with almost 23,000 students.     Flinders University of South Australia

    The Flinders Business School offers specialist postgraduate programs in International Business Administration to help prepare future business managers for positions of responsibility in internationally oriented organisations. These programs emphasise international business strategy, management, finance and cover a multitude of contemporary business issues in a global context.

    CABA members who wish to study for the Flinders University MBA(IB) program will be granted 12 units of elective credit. This will enable graduates to complete the MBA in three semesters , or 1.5 years of study.

    Manchester Metropolitan University Business School (MMUBS)

    Manchester Metropolitan University Business School (MMUBS) can trace its history as a provider of business education back to 1889. Today, MMUBS is a 'full-range' business school, offering undergraduate, postgraduate and higher research degrees in all major sub-disciplines of business and management, engaging in applied research and providing in-house courses and consultancy services for corporate clients.

    With some 3,000 undergraduate and 1,500 postgraduate students (including 60 PhD and 350 professional accounting students), MMUBS is one of the largest business schools in the UK.     Nottingham Trent University

    Nottingham Trent University was founded in 1843 as Nottingham Government School of Design culminating in 1991 as The Nottingham Trent University. Nottingham Trent has received a series of "excellent” results from Quality Assurance Agency.

    Chartered members of CABA who are interested in applying to the Nottingham Trent University must do so through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (www.ucas.ac.uk) irrespective of the year of entry. NTU will consider applicants holding a CABA award with a view to granting entry in year 2.

    The University of Ulster

    The University of Ulster is willing to admit Chartered Members to their MSc International Business by E-Learning Programme with a possibility of advanced standing. Advanced Standing will be assessed and evaluated on an individual basis, upon receipt of application.

    Members can be assured of an education that it is the highest standard in Ireland, and amongst the very best in the British Isles. The UK Quality Assurance Agency has awarded the University of Ulster's Faculty of Business and Management the top rating of "excellent", scoring 24 out of 24.
